Hi good morning, here I am in front of the beautiful Humber bridge, I have just driven over on my way to a meeting and I’d thought I’d stop and record this video because it got me thinking.

What was the imagination of someone who thought they could build something like this, it’s a tremendous piece of architecture and crucial to the local economies of north Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and it’s a major arterial connection.

What was in the imagination of someone who said we can build a suspension bridge this big? This got me thinking about your business, what do you imagine you can do in your business, do you just want to make payroll or do you want something bigger and hairier and more audacious as a goal?

People across time have dreamed to do things John F Kennedy says we can shoot for the moon in terms of sanctioning the Apollo missions to put a man on the moon in the 1960’s. What’s your version of shooting for the moon?

You are where you are because of the decisions you make and the effort and the choices that you make. What’s your big hairy audacious goal? There is a saying, if it needs to be it’s up to me. Your future is in your hands, set yourself your own moon missions, dream big about what you can achieve and then set about thinking how you can get there.
